In Family Therapy the development and behavior of one family member is inextricably interconnected with others in the family. Therefore a therapeutic approach that comprehensively addresses the family as well as the "identified client" is required. Change by an individual family member will influence all the others in the family and their reactions will have a reciprocal effect on the individual, within the context of the family and society.
Through family counseling many parents find a way to become a solid team, so they can provide a safe and secure base from which their children and teenagers can be launched into adulthood.
Family Therapy also helps families to cope up with their Aging Parents, to deal with the family's requirements and resolve tensions between adults and siblings.
